Pastor Oyakhilome Reveals Why Top Gospel Singers Left Christ Embassy – Shocking Details!

After years of speculation, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder of LoveWorld (Christ Embassy), has finally revealed the real reason why several gospel singers parted ways with his church. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Dispelling rumors that they left because they were not allowed to minister outside the church, Oyakhilome disclosed that the problem ran much deeper—claiming that the singers strayed from their spiritual calling in pursuit of personal fame and financial gain.

“The church was no longer a place of prayer but was turning into a party scene,” he said, expressing disappointment over how worship had been replaced with self-glorification.

He accused the gospel artists of prioritizing performance over ministry, stating:

“They were not soul winners. They led praise in church, but when it was time for prayers, they were gone. The music became worldly, they danced for themselves, celebrated themselves instead of God, and started charging money for their singing.”

According to him, while he once celebrated these singers, he had no choice but to part ways when they refused to align with the true essence of worship.

“They became too popular and were making what they thought was big money. That little money became too attractive for them to let go, so they refused to follow me. I hope they all repent because they are not true worship leaders,” he concluded.

His revelations have sparked reactions across the Christian community, leaving many questioning the true motives behind gospel music today.
